Sea Poetry
Sea Poetry is a reel-to-reel tape release of the second album by the Rafał Jackiewicz Quartet. It features six original jazz compositions by Rafał Jackiewicz
The album was recorded analog on a Studer A827 tape machine at Custom34 Studio in Gdańsk in July 2025 and duplicated at RTM in France on RTM LPR90 at 15 IPS.
This edition is strictly limited to 100 hand-numbered copies.
Our duplication set up uses a Studer A810 as the master playback deck, together with a distribution amplifier and a control and monitoring system, feeding six Revox PR99 recorders
Our choice of the Revox PR99 machines as slaves is based on several key factors: they deliver professional-grade audio quality, are reliable and easy to calibrate, and benefit from a wide availability of spare parts such as heads and electronic boards.
Designed for continuous use in professional environments such as broadcasting they ensure excellent robustness and speed stability.
Moreover, their neutral electronics make them ideal for duplication, as they preserve the integrity of the original master without adding coloration.
